Microsoft is reaching out to college students about their latest recruiting campaign to enlist new specialists in the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity. In the early part of 2021, the software giant committed $20 billion over five years to advance security solutions and protect customers, as well as $150 million to help US government agencies upgrade software protections, and expand cybersecurity training partnerships.
The goal of the campaign would be to get 250,000 new recruits to join the cybersecurity workforce by 2025, which would include jobs at Microsoft and other large tech companies as well.
